Description Bipin Kunal 2020-05-22 15:47:48 UTC
Description of problem (please be detailed as possible and provide log
snippests):

LSO doesn't get upgraded with OCP upgrade so we must emphasize in the document to upgrade the LSO operator when OCP is upgraded if LSO is being used with OCS

Version of all relevant components (if applicable):
4.4

The message needs to be added in planning guide and release notes.

In the release note,
I suggest to add Important point after 2.1 Deployment using local storage devices and before 2.1.1 Deployment on bare metal now GA. Text can be something like below:

---------------
Important:

Local Storage Operator doesn't get upgraded when OpenShift Container Platform is upgraded. Ensure to upgrade Local Storage Operator to match with OpenShift Container Platform version in order to have Local Storage Operator fully supported with Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage.

--------------

In the planning guide,
I suggest adding the Important point in section 3.2. Platform requirements. Important point can be like below:

------------

Local Storage Operator doesn't get upgraded when the OpenShift Container Platform is upgraded. Ensure to upgrade Local Storage Operator to match with OpenShift Container Platform version in order to have Local Storage Operator fully supported with Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage.

-----------
