Description Federico Bruni 2020-05-23 21:34:03 UTC
appstream-data package descriptions says:

"""
Description : This package provides the distribution specific AppStream metadata required
: for the GNOME and KDE software centers. The appstream data is built weekly with
: /usr/bin/appstream-builder, combining the data from RPM packages in official
: repositories and the extra data in fedora-appstream.
"""

Then I would expect that the package is updated more or less weekly on Fedora stable (I'm running version 32).
But the last update was in April, 5 weeks ago.
Changelog in the spec shows that it's updated every 2 months and something:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/appstream-data/blob/master/f/appstream-data.spec#_48

Perhaps the description should be changed to reflect the real frequency of update?
