Description of problem: GNOME Flashback's Lock Screen does not function, missing /etc/pam.d/gnome-flashback file Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.36.4 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install GNOME Flashback packages 2. Attempt to lock the screen with either super+L or from user menu in top panel, nothing happens 3. Actual results: nothing Expected results: Screen to lock and give a password box to unlock Additional info:
Confirmed; only applies to 3.36+ (F32 and rawhide), which no longer uses the deprecated gnome-screensaver. Alberts, should the PAM file be included in the gnome-flashback sources like it was in gnome-screensaver? Should the contents be identical, just renamed to "gnome-flashback"? (That seems to work, and fwiw is also what mate-screensaver provides.)
Scratch build for testing: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=45046199
Can now confirm that with the scratch build screen locking with Super+L and menu option does now lock the screen and provide a dialog for unlocking which also works.
