Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
Root users, or members of the wheel group, are able to manage the firewall through cockpit. However, users who have full sudo permissions, and are not members of the wheel group, cannot manage the firewall through cockpit.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install RHEL 7
2. Enable cockpit
3. Grant user access through sudo
4. Login to cockpit as user
5. Try to manage firewall
Actual results:
Non-root users are unable to manage the firewall through cockpit.
Expected results:
Non-root users, with sudo permissions, should have permission to manage firewall through cockpit

Issue appears to be the same as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1664158#
This was fixed upstream (https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/commit/168f819ebd09ddc22), and that fix is in RHEL 8.3.
The firewall page normally relies on polkit privileges, and polkit doesn't consider sudoers rules (only wheel group membership). With the above fix it can use either sudo or polkit.
Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a
resolution of ERRATA.
