.`mount.ceph` has an additional option of `recover_session=clean` With this release, an additional option of `recover_session=clean` is added to `mount.ceph`. With this option, the client reconnects to the {storage-product} cluster automatically when it detects that it is blocklisted by Metadata servers (MDS) and the mounts are recovered automatically. See the link:{cephfs-guide}#emoving-a-ceph-file-system-client-from-the-blocklist_fs[_Removing a Ceph File System client from the blocklist_] section in the _{storage-product} File System Guide_ for more information.

Description Patrick Donnelly 2020-05-30 23:33:47 UTC
This is a test-only bz for the new recover_session option to the kernel client.

https://docs.ceph.com/docs/octopus/man/8/mount.ceph/#basic

Documentation for this new feature needs written as well.
