Description Karthik Sundaravel 2020-06-03 02:26:03 UTC
In case of NIC Partitioning [1], the user configuration of NovaPCIPassthrough will be used as it is when the below THT parameter (DerivePciWhitelistEnabled) is defined for the role.

  <RoleName>Parameters:
    DerivePciWhitelistEnabled: false

When DerivePciWhitelistEnabled is false, the operator is expected to omit the inclusion of the VFs allotted for NIC Partitioning in host while configuring NovaPCIPassthrough

When DerivePciWhitelistEnabled is set to true, the the VF's used by NIC Partitioning would be automatically removed from the user defined configuration NovaPCIPassthrough. This is the default behavior.

These details shall be added to [1]
