Description Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-06-03 09:03:38 UTC
Description of problem:
Bug 1817485 and bug 1814752 now manifest again in Sat 6.8 snap 2.1.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Sat 6.8 snap 2.1

How reproducible:
Deterministic

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use reproducers from original BZs

Actual results:
When invoking the job, the password is not asterisked out. When opening invocation details, the password is visible in plaintext.

Expected results:
The same behavior as in Sat 6.7

Comment 1 Adam Ruzicka 2020-06-15 10:18:45 UTC
Fixed in https://github.com/theforeman/foreman_ansible/pull/340, landed in foreman_ansible-5.1.0, moving to POST.

Comment 2 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-07-16 14:08:47 UTC
Verified with Sat 6.8 snap 8.0.

The password is now hidden both when entering it and when viewing the invocation. Note that it's still possible to see the password using "Rerun" when having create_invocation permission.
