Description Orion Poplawski 2020-06-05 03:17:17 UTC
Description of problem:

I'm working on updating VTK to 9.0 here:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/orion/vtk9.0/builds/

mrpt is failing to build there. Near as I can tell because of:

-- Checking GNUCXX version 3/4 to determine OpenCV /opt/net/ path
-- ERROR: OpenCV was not found.

but I have no idea what that isn't working.

Looks like we are quite a ways behind upstream again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.4.0-19

Comment 1 Rich Mattes 2020-06-07 22:14:02 UTC
I'm not sure what's going on there - I applied to build to see if I can reproduce.

I took a couple stabs at updating, but mrpt is loaded with bundled libraries to unravel. I'll keep trying as I get time.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.

Comment 3 Orion Poplawski 2021-01-24 18:17:12 UTC
Just a heads up that I'm looking to update vtk to 9.0.1 shortly.

Comment 4 Rich Mattes 2021-02-22 18:43:01 UTC
PCL is fixed, I'll work this next.

Comment 5 Rich Mattes 2021-03-07 18:04:31 UTC
mrpt doesn't depend on vtk itself, any vtk-specific issues were likely caused by pcl. The package rebuilt in rawhide, i'm doing f34 now.
