Description atripier 2020-06-09 19:36:36 UTC
Description of problem:
On the Cockpit login page of an oVirt Node, clicking on any of the interactive elements in the page (User name/password text fields, checkboxes, etc.) doesn't produce any result (text field not selected, checkbox state not changed, etc.).

To actually login to oVirt, I am forced to inspect the page HTML and delete the element <span id="badge"></span>. Then the interactivity is restored.

Tested with latest Firefox/Chromium.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Latest oVirt 4.4.0, fresh install

How reproducible:
Trivial, works all the time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install oVirt 4.4.0 on a new node
2. Access the Cockpit login page at https://<node>:9090
3. Try to click on any interactive element in the page

Actual results:
No result

Expected results:
The click works

Additional info:
This behavior seems to have been introduced by the fix to Bugzilla issue #1833398
