Comment 1 Jesse Pretorius 2020-06-16 13:12:02 UTC
The timeout value is a parameter which can be set as can be seen in https://opendev.org/openstack/tripleo-heat-templates/src/commit/abf6c28cfacf0287a0aeaad5ba58c19bdd3d15cc/deployment/tripleo-packages/tripleo-packages-baremetal-puppet.yaml#L78

Would it be acceptable to just have this documented for improved awareness?

Alternatively, what would a suitable default timeout value be?

Comment 4 Jesse Pretorius 2020-06-17 14:21:54 UTC
An upstream master patch has been submitted for review: https://review.opendev.org/736235

Once that has merged, we can port it back.
