Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-06-16 10:22:44 UTC
Description of problem:
There's a list of safemode macros usable in report templates. There is no mention of the load_pools macro. However, report 'Subscription - General Report' shows this macro indeed works.
Furthermore, there is load_hosts macro listed twice.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Sat 6.8 snap 4.0

How reproducible:
Deterministic

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Monitoring -> Report Templates -> Subscription - General Report
2. Check there is the load_pools macro used
3. Go to Help tab

Actual results:
There is no mention of the load_pools macro. There is load_hosts macro listed twice.

Expected results:
The macro should be documentad, like others. The load_hosts macro should only be listed once.

Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/30196 from this bug

Comment 2 Bryan Kearney 2020-07-04 20:04:27 UTC
Upstream bug assigned to dmatoule

Comment 3 Bryan Kearney 2020-07-08 20:04:23 UTC
Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/30296 has been resolved.

Comment 5 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-07-21 12:15:51 UTC
I considered these fixes to be easy enough to be in one BZ but I have no problem with splitting it. Let's keeps this BZ for the load_pools macro then.

Comment 6 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-07-21 12:18:22 UTC
The load_hosts macro issue reported as bug 1859194.

Comment 7 Tomer Brisker 2020-07-21 12:29:18 UTC
Thanks Lukas, moving back to modified. In this case, since they are fixed in separate projects, its better to have separate bzs.

Comment 8 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2020-09-17 14:40:35 UTC
Verified with Sat 6.8 snap 15.

Used reproducer from OP, there is now load_pools macro in the list and the macro works.
