Create a VM with 7TB RAM (assuming the max-allowed is 6TB) Actual results: A red frame indicates that there is a problem with the memory value but there is no tooltip and the VM cannot be created (screenshot attached) Expected results: The VM is supposed to be created (but can't be run) or tooltip should be added
adding a tooltip to explain that it exceeds the config value
Verified with: ovirt-engine-4.5.0.2-0.7.el8ev.noarch Steps: Create a VM with 64TB memory size Results: 1. The Maximum memory is set to 16777216 MB(it's 16TB) 2. When click OK, there is a red frame on the Maximum memory value 3. When move the mouse onto the red frame, it shows "Maximum Memory has to be larger than or equal to Memory Size"
This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.5.0 release, published on April 20th 2022. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.5.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report.
