@michael,

we faced issue in osd removal when the node had more than 1 OSD pods - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1840539#c37

Hence, based on that we might have to wait for the fix for the issue reported in 4.5(so that it can be backported in 4.4 as well)
