Description of problem: The package python2-idstools was removed from EPEL7, although Python2 is still the major Python version on that platform. There was no need to remove the package, it looks more like a merging errpor. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): python2-idstools How reproducible: Get a RHEL7/CentOS7 machine, try to install python2-idstools. Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install python2-idstools Actual results: `No package matching 'python2-idstools' found available, installed or updated` Expected results: The installation of the package, like it was working a few days ago. Additional info: Looks like this merge: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-idstools/c/7a5a3e43ca370070977b5d859276b8e652429653?branch=epel7 from master into the EPEL repository also removed the python2 packages. This was probably not intended.
In order to restore python2, I brought back the last good epel7 commit, increasing the release number to 14 https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-idstools/c/b91098727174e57fdbb368afa6c6ad2f71e195ae?branch=epel7
