Nicotine+ 2.0 has been ported to python 3. Will someone package it for Fedora?
Nicotine+ 2.0 is NOT yet released. I'm already in touch with the Nicotine dev team. It will be available in Fedora: - once 2.0 is officially released - after a package re-review according to the Fedora guidelines
I neved said it has been released, but thanks for confirming it will come back to Fedora when it's ready.
Just a head's up. Nicotine can now be brought back to Fedora. Thanks a lot for your patience.
OK, so I got the srpm from 1858971 and compiled and installed on my pc. Compilation went smoothly and also nicotine+ itself seems to be running smoothly. Well done..
I only have to add one small issue to my report (nicotine+ seem to be working fine). While the nicotine icon seems fine when I start it, it reverts to the default one when doint ALT+TAB to switch apps. I think the behavior used to be this also in the old version, so it doesn't seem to be a regression.
