this has also been resolved in more recent build. if you prefer to verify i can leave the bug open, but feel free to close if you're not going to try *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1830872 *** |
Description of problem: After finishing upgrade of the HE and all the hosts. The cluster compatibility level should be changed to 4.4, but it is not possible with VMs with changes for next run. The Hosted engine reports: Pending Virtual Machine changes: Cluster CPU type Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhvm-4.4.1.1-0.5.el8ev.noarch How reproducible: So far just ones, but this is the first time I am able to successfully finish the upgrade Steps to Reproduce: 1.Upgrade on hsts with CPU: Intel Xeon E312xx (Sandy Bridge) Actual results: The hosted engine is marked as restart needed, but the restart doe not resolve the issue. Manual DB modification is needed. Expected results: HE doe not have any tasks pending Additional info: This is a nested environment, but I hope it doe not have nay effect on this.
