There are jobs that perform operations on the Satellite or Capsules themselves as Ansible playbooks and exist under the 'Ansible Playbook' job category. This makes them harder to find as they are buried within playbooks designed for client hosts. Categorizing Satellite operation playbooks under their own Job Category will make them more obvious for users to find. Some ideas: * Satellite Operations * Maintenance Operations * Operations Examples that would live here: * Cloud connector * Capsule upgrade
Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/30483 from this bug
Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/30483 has been resolved.
Fix is in Satellite 6.9 SNAP 1 with tfm-rubygem-foreman_ansible-6.0.0-1.el7sat.noarch
Verified in Sat 6.9 snap 8.0. There is a new category created, "Maintenance Operations". There are two job templates that have been moved here from their original locations: "Configure Cloud Connector", "Capsule upgrade Playbook". This change makes sense since these are indeed the playbooks that should be separated from the others.
