Cause: After CNV upgrade, there are 2 sets of common templates. For each os-workload-flavor combination, 2 templates are available; older and current versions. Consequence: When selecting a template, using os-workload-flavor combination, 2 templates will be fetched. Workaround (if any): When creating a VM from common templates, the template with the newer version should be used. Result:

After CNV upgrade, there are 2 sets of common templates.
For each os-workload-flavor combination, 2 templates are available; older and curretn versions.
When creating a VM from common templates, the template with the newer version should be used.

We have bug 1859235 to resolve this.
