Description of problem: The users are told to create a “storage cluster” but the button says “create OCS service” and the page title is OCS service as well. Need consistency in the naming. UX issue severity level: 2-High (refer below mentioned doc for severity levels) This BZ is being filed based on the Usability study conducted on RHOCS during July 2020. A complete report on this Usability study can be found here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1w65Rl2ZsTew-TIqgKUaZ9Y-1DmG1Z4Y59sYQjYC_mMM/edit#slide=id.g547716335e_0_260 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
Assigning to UX, to determine the text on various buttons.
the text on the button should be just "Create Storage Cluster" and if one storage cluster is created the button should be disabled because we are not allowing to create more than one right now. and the title of the page needs to be aligned with the Tab name. so the title should be "Storage Cluster"
Reduced the severity and changed the target release based on the discussion with UX and dev.
Version tested OCS 4.6.0-98.ci OCP - 4.6.0-0.nightly-2020-09-23-022756 (In reply to Yuval from comment #2) > the text on the button should be just "Create Storage Cluster" and if one > storage cluster is created the button should be disabled because we are not > allowing to create more than one right now. > and the title of the page needs to be aligned with the Tab name. so the > title should be "Storage Cluster" As mentioned above 1. The Button name is "Create Storage Cluster" 2. The Tab name says "Storage Clusters" instead of "Storage Cluster" 3. The create button is not disabled, we had existing ocs cluster and the UI allows to create one more. From point 2nd and this might confuse the user and user can create more than one OCS on OCP, which is currently not supported For the above reasons I am marking this BZ as Failed QA.

> As mentioned above > 1. The Button name is "Create Storage Cluster" The Button name is Create Storage Cluster only as seen in screenshot. > 2. The Tab name says "Storage Clusters" instead of "Storage Cluster" This will be storage clusters only as we are showing the list of the storage cluster. Just think if user has created storage cluster from the CLI that also needs to be listed but as a ignored CR. Also The Type of the CR is List. > 3. The create button is not disabled, we had existing ocs cluster and the UI > allows to create one more. This is already defered to 4.7 as part of this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1867400
Based on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1866315#c8, moving it back to ON_QA, please verify

looks good
lets write in all places "Storage Cluster"
With respect to comment #12 moving this BZ back to Assigned.
@yuval, The LIST in the OLM pages is represented as plurals so it will be Storage Clusters when we show list rather than storage cluster. The List remains the List even there can be only one instance running at a perticular point of time all other CR will/can be ignored. I'll like to have it the way it's repesented in OLM.
sure np

Very interesting. And yes, I love all kinds of research. This is a useful source of new knowledge for me. In addition, I can use this information when doing homework at the university. If I do not have enough time, I delegate them to https://essayusa.com/ But when I do them myself, I really like this process and it is very pleasant to realize that I have earned a good mark by my own work.
