Description of problem:

packagekitd uses a huge amount of RAM and swap space.  My uptime is 10 days and here is what I have:

It's always in my top swap space users.

Expected results:
There is not reason for a package checker to consume the amount of resources it does on a PERMANENT basis.  Surely this process and do what it must and then RELEASE them?
