Description of problem: It should be possible to lock a display within a screen session using either ctrl-a ctrl-x or ctrl-a x key combinations. Locking displays does not appear to function in Fedora Core 5. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): screen-4.0.2-12 How reproducible: always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a terminal 2. run screen 3. type ctrl-a ctrl-x 4. screen session should lock Actual results: Step 4 doesn't happen.
Consult bug #157821. The behaviour was changed to lock screen on ctrl-a X (instead of x) to reduce chance to lock screen by mistake. You can easily change this setting in your .screenrc or in the systemwide /etc/screenrc.
