A buffer overflow vulnerability in p_print_image() in devices/gdevcdj.c of Artifex Software GhostScript v9.50 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted PDF file. Flaw summary: in ep_print_image() of /devices/gdevcdj.c, a missing bounds check in a for loop condition of pointer `p3` could cause an out-of-bounds read when an attacker provides a crafted PDF file to be processed by ghostscript.
Mitigation: Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
