Description of problem:
Hi! After upgrade from f32 to f33 randomly got 'awk' error when trying to auto complete commands.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
fish-3.1.2-1.fc33.x86_64


How reproducible:
Try to type 'systemc' and then pres TAB key.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. systemc
2. Press <Tab> key


Actual results:
fish: Process 2532, 'apropos' from job 1, 'apropos $argv 2>/dev/null | awk…' terminated by signal SIGABRT (Abort)


Expected results:
No 'awk' error which ruin UX in general.
