The php-email-address-validation package relies on source code fetched from (now defunct) Google Code, which dates back to 2009. There exists a fork of the library, which is still maintained and had its latest release in 2017: https://github.com/aziraphale/email-address-validator Running dnf repoquery shows that the only consumer of the php-email-address-validation package is dokuwiki: > $ dnf repoquery --whatrequires php-email-address-validation > dokuwiki-0:20180422b-4.fc32.noarch For dokuwiki, the forked 2.0.1 would be the preferred version of this library.
