This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
  growpart command doesn't work properly, when env variable LANG is not set to en_US.UTF-8

How reproducible:
  100%


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set LANG env variable to something different than en_US (tested with cs_CZ.UTF-8):
  # export LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8
2. Run growpart command:
  # growpart /dev/xvda 2 -v -N


Actual results:
  # growpart /dev/xvda 2 -v -N
    unexpected output in sfdisk --version [sfdisk z util-linux 2.23.2]


Expected results:
  growpart should work correctly independently on LANG configuration


Additional info:
  Workaround is of course simple:
  # LANG=en_US.UTF-8 growpart /dev/xvda 2 -v -N
