Description of problem: When running $ rr record ..., rr simply hangs. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rr-5.3.0-14.20200427gitbab9ca9.el7 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install rr on RHEL7.2+ via the EPEL7 repositories. 2. Run $ rr record -n ls (this should hang). 3. Run $ rr replay. Actual results: $ rr record -n ls rr: Saving execution to trace directory `/root/.local/share/rr/ls-0'. ... output of $ ls ... (hangs) $ rr replay rr: Trace file `/root/.local/share/rr/ls-0/incomplete' found. rr recording terminated abnormally and the trace is incomplete Expected results: $ rr record -n ls rr: Saving execution to trace directory `/root/.local/share/rr/ls-0'. ... output of $ ls ... $ rr replay (GDB session) Additional info: A bug has been filed upstream.
