Description Zvonko Kosic 2020-08-28 12:33:59 UTC
Description of problem:

There is no way to configure the nfd-worker. I wanted to extend the PCI's labels to expose also device id and maybe others (I think that feature.node.kubernetes.io/pci-8086.present is a little bit too generic, I see that class 0200 is also whitelisted and that will include Intel's Ethernet devices)
I found that worker's configmap is built into the nfd operator's image, so we'd have to build own image.
I tried editing the oc edit configmap -n openshift-nfd nfd-worker but I think that the operator is quickly changing to the ones in the image
