As we don't have capsule server, we will rely on Michael Vollmer testing:

yes sure - I forked the role to include BZ 1853374 at my customer deployments where capsules are used.
It works fine. The only adjustment for capsule is to use a different port in the THT.

parameter_defaults:
  RhsmVars:
    rhsm_rhsm_port: "8443"
    ...

So I can confirm that BZ 1853374 solved the registration issue (when a capsule is used) for my customer."
