Comment 2 Mirek Długosz 2020-09-22 12:12:45 UTC
Satellite 6.8 ships with plugin version 2.0.10. That version will use Settings -> Content -> Default HTTP Proxy for report upload, and fall back to Settings -> General -> HTTP(S) proxy if first setting is not set. Syncing data from CRC will only use Settings -> General -> HTTP(S) proxy. I created bz#1874422 to track this discrepancy.
I believe one of future versions of plugin will use consistent proxy settings all across the board. There is upstream PR for that. It will be verified as part of linked bugzilla.

Moving to VERIFIED, as plugin does use proxy - but sometimes it might not be proxy that user would expect.

Tested on:
Satellite 6.8 snap 16
satellite-6.8.0-1.el7sat.noarch
katello-3.16.0-1.el7sat.noarch
foreman-2.1.2.12-1.el7sat.noarch
pulp-server-2.21.3-1.el7sat.noarch
tfm-rubygem-foreman_rh_cloud-2.0.10-1.el7sat.noarch
