Created attachment 1781914 [details] [patch] Update to 4.7.3 (#1874247)
the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of Mayavi-4.7.3-1.fc32.src.rpm for rawhide was cancelled http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=67674844
Note that mayavi needs to be rebuild with the current vtk anyways. In Fedora 34, we currently get: $ mayavi2 ******************************************************************************** WARNING: Imported VTK version (9.0) does not match the one used to build the TVTK classes (8.2). This may cause problems. Please rebuild TVTK. ******************************************************************************** This is with: Mayavi-4.7.2-2.fc34.x86_64 vtk-9.0.1-8.fc34.x86_64 This affects script usage, too. For example: from mayavi import mlab core dumps. Should these be separate bugs or wait for a successful rebuild of mayavi against vtk 9? On Fedora 32 with python 3.8, mayavi-4.7.2 with vtk-9.0.1 from pip do work. (envisage, traits, pyface... from pip) But they don't have wheels for current py versions. Not an easy upstream to follow for the packager :|
