Description Marina Kalinin 2020-09-01 14:48:38 UTC
RHV 4.4 Package Manifest is missing important packages and by that is not serving its purpose:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.4/html-single/package_manifest/index#rhvh-4-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms_2020-08-04

There is no libvirt / qemu / ansible / kernel, etc for RHVH. Which is the whole point of this document to provide to support and customers the tested configurations, as referred from the life cycle page.

Please fix ASAP.

For reference, there was a problem with the script broken in 4.3 and got fixed via this BZ:

Looks good to me

Comment 4 Steve Goodman 2020-11-30 16:14:39 UTC
Clearing all NEEDINFOs.

Comment 5 Marina Kalinin 2022-02-14 17:06:12 UTC
Just in case someone is still questioning the need for package manifest, check that KCS and see how many cases are being attached to it regularly:
