i am setting this to assigned and adding the upcomingsprint tag. my feeling is that this issue will be resolved by bz#1868760, but if i not i will continue to monitor this and add the appropriate patches.

i am closing this as a duplicate of bz#1868760, which has merged and backported the changes to 4.3/4.4/4.5
