Description of problem: This bug report is essentially a repeat of bug 1800339 applied to the satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-*-eus-* content sets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engineering product 292 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Power, little endian - Extended Update Support" provides access to the following table of ContentSetLabels/"ENG CONTENT ID"s that should extend/"MODIFY" Engineering product 279 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Power, little endian" ContentSetLabel ENG CONTENT ID MODIFIES satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-eus-rpms 10331 279 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-eus-debug-rpms 10332 279 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-ppc64le-eus-source-rpms 10333 279 The following rcm configuration files are missing entries for the table rows above. http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-stage.csv ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engineering product 70 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64 - Extended Update Support" provides access to the following table of ContentSetLabels/"ENG CONTENT ID"s that should extend/"MODIFY" Engineering product 479 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86_64" ContentSetLabel ENG CONTENT ID MODIFIES satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-x86_64-eus-rpms 10325 479 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-x86_64-eus-debug-rpms 10326 479 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-x86_64-eus-source-rpms 10327 479 The following rcm configuration files are missing entries for the table rows above. http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-stage.csv ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engineering product 73 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for IBM z Systems - Extended Update Support" provides access to the following table of ContentSetLabels/"ENG CONTENT ID"s that should extend/"MODIFY" Engineering product 72 - "Red Hat Enterprise Linux for IBM z Systems" ContentSetLabel ENG CONTENT ID MODIFIES satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-s390x-eus-rpms 10328 72 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-s390x-eus-debug-rpms 10329 72 satellite-tools-6.8-for-rhel-8-s390x-eus-source-rpms 10330 72 The following rcm configuration files are missing entries for the table rows above. http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-stage.csv ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because the repos in the table(s) above represent EUS content sets, the intended business requirement is that a customer who is granted an entitlement to these content sets must also have an entitlement to the eng product that these EUS content sets modify. If no changes are made, then a customer will continue gaining access to the EUS content provided by the failing repos above without also attaching an subscription SKU that provides the engineering id being modified/extended. The final step in fixing this bug is for RCM to issue a refresh pools event in stage and prod on engIds 292, 70, 73. This is necessary for candlepin to apply the new constraint.
I should also have included the qa mapping file in the list of files to be updated... The following rcm configuration files are missing entries for the table rows above. http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-stage.csv http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-qa.csv
fixed in SPMM-2134
correction - John Sefler
I visually inspected the production http://git.app.eng.bos.redhat.com/git/rcm/rcm-metadata.git/tree/cdn/cs_mappings-prod.csv file and found all the requested constraints have been added. I also have automated test coverage (as part of a subscription-management test suite) that is now passing. I am moving this to VERIFIED.
