Taking a closer look on the above error message, I would suggest to take a look on etcd healthiness and connectivity:

Please open a separate BZ to investigate this issue if any on the elasticsearch-operator side. Creating the service account is not related to this BZ please.

Verified this bz.  ES is working after upgrading from OCP 4.4 to 4.5, deployment for ES are created for es.
