Github openshift cluster-authentication-operator pull 344 None open Bug 1878776: ingressnodesavailable: add controller that checks if router can schedule pods 2020-09-14 13:44:54 UTC

Description Michal Fojtik 2020-09-14 13:44:00 UTC
Description of problem:

The auth operator require ingress (router) to be running in order to expose the oauth-server route. Currently, when router is not running, because worker nodes were not created for whatever reason, the signal from this operator was poor and it led to many bugs where this operator was blamed for malfunction.

We need to add controller that monitor nodes and report when there are no schedulable nodes available for router.
