Description Bob Emerson 2020-09-15 14:20:33 UTC
Description of problem:

Some customer may/have used rados layer snapshots on/in their RGW environment(pools) for backup purposes.

This snapshot functionally can be implemented on pools related to RGW, but because of potential inconsistencies this process could introduce this should not occur on any RGW related pools.

Related versions: All versions of RHCS

Additional info: We would like to see a warning put in the RGW pool documentation.
