We are deep in the F33 Beta freeze, but we've got one more week of blocker bugs to resolve. I'd like to propose Plasma 5.19.5 mega-update as a Freeze Exception. Jan Grulich already built Plasma 5.19.5 two weeks ago and it's been sitting in Bodhi: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-84d08a3e35 So I'd like to get FE approval to get this to land in for the Beta.
FEDORA-2020-84d08a3e35 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 33. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-84d08a3e35
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 33-beta by Fedora user ngompa using the blocker tracking app because: Have Plasma 5.19.5 land in Fedora 33 Beta to get the widest array of testing and availability.
Discussed at 2020-09-21 blocker review meeting: https://meetbot-raw.fedoraproject.org/fedora-blocker-review/2020-09-21/f33-blocker-review.2020-09-21-16.00.html . This is accepted as a freeze exception as a significant update to a desktop that we'd like to have in and that affects live images, but we will only pull it in if we wind up slipping this week. Taking it for a possible release this week is cutting it too fine, we think.
FEDORA-2020-84d08a3e35 has been pushed to the Fedora 33 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.
