Ran into this today as well, Rex had a bit more info: adamw anyone know where python module pyqtbuild might come from? adamw building calibre 5 appears to require it... rdieter adamw: I'd guess it's part of sip v5 rdieter or not, looks like it may be a new/separate module, https://pypi.org/project/PyQt-builder/ ? rdieter confirmed, https://www.riverbankcomputing.com/news/PyQt-builder_1.6.0_Released adamw Yeah, I added a build dep on sip5 but that wasn't in it
Yes, it needs sip5 AND PyQt-builder and probibly more...

Hi, I just want to ask, when Calibre will be updated to the current version? It seems that Calibre has a lot of dependencies issues to be fixed? v/r Andi
It's waiting on the sip5 rebuild of a number of things in the qt stack. Thats ongoing now... so hopefully soon!
Okay - thx for the info! Hopefully, soon the bugs will be fixed ;)!

(In reply to Kevin Fenzi from comment #30) > It's waiting on the sip5 rebuild of a number of things in the qt stack. > Thats ongoing now... so hopefully soon! Hi Kevin, Is there any tracking or progress about the sip5 rebuild? $ dnf info python3-sip-devel Last metadata expiration check: 5:11:58 ago on Fri 02 Jul 2021 01:03:21 PM CST. Available Packages Name : python3-sip-devel Version : 4.19.24 Release : 3.fc34 Architecture : i686 Size : 63 k Source : sip-4.19.24-3.fc34.src.rpm Looks this package is quite close to upstream now
sip5 has been packaged for a while... it's just a matter of rebuilding the entire stack with it. We are getting close to done here... swt2c has been doing this work and has a copr with it + pull requests for the various packages. https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/swt2c/pyqt5-sip5/ Hopefully it will land in rawhide soon.
Available in Rawhide. :)
