Description of problem: I was watching an .AVI video with VLC and was kicked out of my gnome session. It fell back to the loading "Fedora" screen before you log in. I supect this is the same as https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/issues/1055 upstream fixed with https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/512 and backported to the stable-1.20-branch with https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/518.
