Description Petr Horáček 2020-10-09 12:15:55 UTC
Document URL:
https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.5/virt/virtual_machines/advanced_vm_management/virt-configuring-pxe-booting.html

Section Number and Name:
PXE booting with a specified MAC address
Procedure example

Describe the issue:
The referenced plugin is "virt-tuning", despite such plugin does not exist in OCP/CNV.

Suggestions for improvement:
The plugin should be "cnv-tuning".

Additional information:
This is already correctly documented in https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.5/virt/virtual_machines/vm_networking/virt-attaching-vm-multiple-networks.html#virt-creating-bridge-nad-cli_virt-attaching-multiple-networks.

Thank you for reporting this, Petr!

I have opened the following PR to fix this issue: https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/27201

Meni, can you please ack it? Thank you :)

Comment 3 Yossi Segev 2020-11-10 12:14:37 UTC
@pousley Nevermind, I have just saw that it is documented correctly for CNV 2.4 (OCP 4.5), and that this fix is specific for 2.5.
Removed the needinfo, and verified.

Comment 5 Pan Ousley 2020-11-10 19:16:12 UTC
Merged and cherrypicked to the enterprise-4.5, 4.6, and 4.7 releases (OpenShift Virtualization 2.4 - onward).

The fix is live: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.5/virt/virtual_machines/advanced_vm_management/virt-configuring-pxe-booting.html

Closing.
