RFE: See ML discussion: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/thread/VT24EBHC4OF7VXO7BGY3C2IT64M2T5FD/ Long story should I want to create an oVirt cluster out of old(er) Xeon V2 workstations. Each machine will run multiple VMs on a "shared" GlusterFS data domain, and a number of "local" desktop VMs (Most likely Fedora) coupled with vGPU. In general, I care a lot of the availability of the shared VMs, I don't care about the availability of the "local". In-order to improve the performance of the "local" VMs, I wounder if its possible to either add: 1. Add support for private per-node data domain (raw file / LVM) to the storag domain configuration. 2. Add support for LVM / MD RAID partitions in the list of exportable host-devices (currently the list is limited to SCSI, PCI and USB devices) in the VM configuration. As pointed out in the ML discussion, both NFS and PosixFS are semi viable (though noticeably slower) alternatives, but the stability of the cluster may be hampered if one of the hosts dies. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.4.2.6-1.el8
