Description OpenShift BugZilla Robot 2020-10-19 15:25:29 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1885403 +++

Description of problem:
Some OLM events do not expose the underlying error leading to lesser debug capabilities.

Additional info:
Please see https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-lifecycle-manager/blob/master/pkg/controller/operators/olm/operator.go#L1535

It is only an example, there are several occurrences of the same issue.
It can be seen the actual error is not exposed.

I'm closing this bug as WONTFIX. The expected backport process of OpenShift ensures that a bug with a priority of LOW will assuredly never actually make the cut for the list of bzs to backport.
