Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Red Hat Product Errata RHSA-2021:1313 0 None None None 2021-04-21 13:18:42 UTC

Description Shimon Shtein 2020-10-20 11:41:16 UTC
Respect both a satellite level setting and insights-client setting. Similar to the way hostname obfuscation works.

Comment 1 Brad Buckingham 2021-01-08 22:06:33 UTC
Early Satellite 6.9 SNAP includes tfm-rubygem-foreman_rh_cloud-3.0.14-1.el7sat.noarch.rpm; therefore, aligning to release and updating state.

Comment 2 Jameer Pathan 2021-02-11 10:18:22 UTC
Verified

Verified with:
- Satellite 6.9.0 snap 11
- tfm-rubygem-foreman_rh_cloud-3.0.14-1.el7sat.noarch

Test steps:
- Go to Configure > Inventory Upload, enable “Obfuscate host ipv4 addresses” setting.
OR
- Go to Administer > Settings > RH Cloud and enable “Obfuscate host ipv4 addresses” setting.
- Generate report after enabling setting and verify whether the ipv4 addresses are Obfuscated.

Observation:
- Obfuscated host ipv4 addresses in reports generated.
