RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Marek Kašík 2020-10-20 15:29:50 UTC
Description of problem:
I plan to rebase poppler to 20.10.0 (or newer) in RHEL 8.4. Texlive has to be
rebuilt because of this.

See the bug #1644423 for additional info.

Hi,

When is this update expected to land in CentOS Stream? Stream is currently broken by this poppler update as it breaks texlive, inkscape,...
Should these updates not go into Stream all together instead of breaking upgrades?

It's really strange this can happen if you read about the "always ready rhel" stuff and all the tests that packages have to go through before they land in Stream.

Regards,
Rik

This was an infrastructure issue on the CentOS Stream side that we're looking into. Here's the affected build: https://koji.mbox.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=14987

We expect this to land in the next compose.

Is it normal that I can't download those packages?

https://koji.mbox.centos.org/pkgs/packages/texlive/20180414/20.el8/x86_64/texlive-pdftex-20180414-20.el8.x86_64.rpm returns a 403 Forbidden

> We expect this to land in the next compose.

How often do those composes happen?

Regards,
Rik

Comment 17 Brian Stinson 2020-12-16 22:10:18 UTC
We got texlive pushed in compose CentOS-Stream-8-20201215.n.2

This is going out to the mirrors for CentOS Stream now.
