Description Ravishankar N 2020-10-22 12:16:40 UTC
Describe the issue:

While debugging a customer issue (BZ 1877492), the non-granular entry heal became a major pain in healing because of the millions of files present in the directory, causing the brick to be flooded with lookups and giving the appearance that heal was not progressing.

granular-entry heal option could have helped us here but the option is off by default. We should now make it 'on' for new volumes. Raising a bug to fix this.
