Description jakub.jedelsky 2020-10-22 14:40:30 UTC
Hello, I would appreciate if you could build perl-AnyEvent-AIO for EPEL8. Feel free to add me as co-maintainer. This package and its dependencies are built from master branch in https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/kubo/gdc/packages/. Thanks.

Comment 1 Robin Lee 2020-10-25 13:11:52 UTC
Added kubo as admin of perl-AnyEvent-AIO

Comment 3 Petr Pisar 2020-11-09 08:54:03 UTC
Your build failed with:

No matching package to install: 'perl(IO::AIO) >= 3'

That means that perl-IO-AIO-4.72-1.el8 package was not in the build root repository when you attempted to build perl-AnyEven-IO. But that has changed:

$ koji wait-repo epel8-build --build perl-IO-AIO-4.72-1.el8
Successfully waited 0:01 for perl-IO-AIO-4.72-1.el8 to appear in the epel8-build repo

You should be able to build the package now.

Comment 4 Nicolas Chauvet (kwizart) 2020-12-21 09:43:55 UTC
I can install perl-IO-AIO, so I guess the ticket can be closed.

Comment 5 Petr Pisar 2021-01-05 12:04:02 UTC
This bug is about perl-AnyEvent-AIO. Not about perl-IO-AIO. perl-AnyEvent-AIO has not yet been built for EPEL8 <https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=7278>.

Comment 6 Ben Cotton 2021-02-09 15:21:02 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 34 development cycle.
Changing version to 34.
