Description of problem:
system-config-soundcard don't allow sound to be played

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
system-config-soundcard-1.2.16-2

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start system-config-soundcard
2. play
3. no sound. A popup asking for bugreport.

Seems to work on gentoo according to
