Hi, I'm trying to package rust-vm-memory, which depends on arc-swap >= 1.0.0. Is there any way in which I could help getting this package updated to the latest version available on crates.io? Thanks, Sergio.
Since log4rs requires arc-swap ^0.4, I'll crate a compat package for that and update arc-swap to 1.2.0.
(In reply to Fabio Valentini from comment #5) > Since log4rs requires arc-swap ^0.4, I'll crate a compat package for that > and update arc-swap to 1.2.0. Do we really need a compat package for log4rs? Fabiano took a look [1] and seems like the latest version is already using `arc-swap = 1.2`. Is there a dependency chain that would broke if log4rs gets updated? Thanks! [1] https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-arc-swap/pull-request/1
I did not see the conversation in your PR before commenting here. Looks like it's a simple dependency bump in log4rs, so that should be fine.
