Description of problem: I made an attempt to compile openarena on RHEL8. It would be nice, if EPEL package was built. It compiles from master just fine. Additional info: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/pemensik/openarea/packages/
Hello. I see that you successfully build autodownloader for epel8. Have you tried to also use it? I'll build it for epel8 but I cannot test it properly.
No, I just tried to compile it. I never got to use it also, by RHEL8 desktop installation has broken and I installed Fedora later. I just requested it as dependency of quake3, which is required by openarena. I guess I could test it with quake3, even without UI.

I'll build it for epel8 but I cannot test it properly. Tried it just in VNC instance. Its UI is poor, but it works. At least provided example worked the same way as on Fedora 32. Tried also quake3 [1] data file fetch, it downloaded file matching md5sum. 1. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/quake3/raw/master/f/quake3-update.autodlrc
