Description of problem: We recently moved the code of several existing roles from other repos/packages to ovirt-ansible-collection. This should be properly documented. In particular, the location of hosted-engine before-/after-engine-setup hooks changed from: /usr/share/ansible/roles/ovirt.hosted-engine-setup/hooks to: /usr/share/ansible/collections/ansible_collections/ovirt/ovirt/roles/hosted_engine_setup/hooks Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): I think 4.4.3 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Follow existing documents you can find on the net instructing to place hooks in the old directory 2. Deploy 3. Actual results: Your hooks are ignored Expected results: You should notice that the hooks location changed Additional info:
We already have BZ1891749 to track necessary documentation changes around oVirt Ansible Collection, please put all items there *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1891749 ***
(In reply to Martin Perina from comment #1) > We already have BZ1891749 to track necessary documentation changes around > oVirt Ansible Collection, please put all items there I was certain we do, but failed to find it, and failed to find someone that knew it, so decided to be on the safe side - open the bug and have it closed as duplicate if needed. I'd just like to clarify that this is IMO a blocker: If we decide we do not have enough time to finish it by release time, we need at least to add something about it in the release notes (e.g. convert current bug to a known issue or whatever).
